Mandriva Linux Mandriva or who do not know, is a Linux distribution that offers an oriented operating system for personal computers and servers with a focus on users who are entering the world of Linux and free software. The latest edition of this operating system, formerly known as Mandrake has been released.
The new version of the popular distribution demonstrates the potential of the KDE 4 Desktop Environments and technologies like Nepomuk, a semantic engine that aims to revolutionize the concept of desktop.
Just today, Mandriva 2010 or as it was known years ago when I first saw it, Mandrake, is available for download from the website of the distribution itself. It's a very easy distro to use both in KDE and GNOME desktops. It is easy to install and comes into competition with ease among novice users of Ubuntu or Open Suse.
Mandriva Linux 2010, codenamed Adelie, comes with all kinds of pimps, and as was the custom there are different editions for every user to download the most convenient. Furthermore, there is also a download of the ISO under which we can install Mandriva 2010 from USB through a utility called Mandriva-Seed.

* Free: installable DVD includes the complete Mandriva Linux distribution available architectures 32 and 64 bit soft and does not bring the owner.
* ONE: CD-live environments with ONE and KDE4. Includes an installer and proprietary drivers.
# Dual-Arch: It is an installable CD that includes a minimal installation of Mandriva Linux on 32 and another at 64 bits. It is certainly best if you look at the operating system and anything you do not like Live versions.
# PowerPack / Flash: The commercial editions of Mandriva. They can be purchased through your own shop and are in the current 32 and 64 bit as well.
