Bueno, si tu ordenador tiene conexión Bluetooth (ya sea porque cuenta con un chip, o tiene un adaptador Bluetooth), y quieres protegerlo (el sistema como tal), este artículo es para ti. Se trata de Phoenix Freeze, programa gratuito para Windows, en inglés, muy interesante.
Phoenix Freeze te permite bloquear tu ordenador cuando te alejas de él. ¿Cómo? Pues es como un estilo de sensor, lo configuras con el Bluetooth de tu celular. Cuando detecta que te has alejado a cierta distancia (que es estipulada en la configuración del programa), va a actuar de manera automática aplicando la acción que tú quieras, apagar pantalla, y otros.
Obviamente el ordenador deberá poseer conexión Bluetooth. Yo lo estuve probando con mi portátil, y funcionó de maravillas. Claro está que protegerá de forma lógica, es decir, sólo el sistema, tampoco es que va a poner un guardián con una pistola allí, hay que estar claros.
Te permite bloquear el equipo, apagar pantalla o poner el sistema en modo stand-by. Bien es cierto que por ahora Phoenix Freeze está disponible únicamente para Windows, pero el futuro del software está en trabajar para otros sistemas operativos como Linux o Mac OS X.
